Soccer

A word of advice...don't go and play a legitimate game of soccer after months of doing nothing. I did precisely that yesterday, and my hip flexors are as sore as sore can be.

LOL! yea i did that same thing a few months ago when i joined the winter indoor season at SoccerZone (you and Micah played there, right?) I thought I'd be ok, but i was heaving pretty quickly!
...And then i rolled my ankle which has taken me out for the rest of the season!.. :( what a great way to spend the money!

For sure dude. Apparently I was in better shape when I did the indoor thing at Soccerzone, I never seemed to be hurtin that bad.
And the same thing happened to my ankle. You gotta watch out for that turf, it grabs you like velcro. I had the worst rolled ankle of my life one season...and I've been playing sports my whole life.
Luckily it was near the end of a season so I only missed a few games. But it ended up taking the better part of a year to fully recover. I swear even now sometimes I'll still get a small pain in the same spot if I tweak it a certain way.
